PermeaPad Skin is composed of a thin lipid layer mixture between a layer of regenerated cellulose (cut-off size 10-14 KDa) and a porous filter. The porous filter stabilizes the liposomal gel formed during hydration and allows direct contact between the lipid and a transdermal formulation. The SCM has a thickness of less than 0.30 ± 0.02mm.
